Jul 2019 Our family visited the Memorial after receiving word over a year ago that two great-grandfathers were inscribed on the wall. It's not an attraction that you spend a long time at, but it's a peaceful place of reflection with multiple educational plaques as well as the wall of honor with individual names of miners.

The Coal Miners Memorial Park is located directly behind the Coal Miners Memorial located on Main Street, at the Missouri Pacific Railroad track.
